Enjoy Egina town where you can romp about the beautiful neo-classical houses, the charming marina with the busy traffic of fishing boats, the small shops with local handicrafts and specialties such as olives, honey and the world famous pistachios. Meet the local at the marina, watch them discussing the news of the world and the island… You may also let the historical monuments, the Archaeological Museum, the Ancient village of Paliachora and various monasteries with great hospitality delight you, or simply enjoy the variety of nice beaches with shallow waters. Continue to Poros – an island with lots of atmosphere, only a stone’s throw away from Peloponnese. The charming houses rise toward the tall and white clock tower on the top of Poros town. Climbing uphill you will pass the small local shops “kafenion” and green gardens … Along the harbour the local fishermen are busy all day and the freshly caught fish and calamari can be enjoyed at the numerous small taverns, right across the street. Poros is separated in two parts by a small canal. The one part of the island is called Sferia, which is the “rocky” part. The second is called Kalavria. This is a very fertile area with a numerous fruit- and pine plantations. This is also the part of the island where the lovely beaches can be found.
